Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find ED Charts and tap it
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Cancelling during your free trial will prevent any charge.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers receive 7 days of free access. You can cancel any time during the trial and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged £14.99 (or local equivalent) for the first year.

I subscribed but the app is asking me to subscribe again

This usually means the app has not yet detected your active subscription. Please try:

  1. Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall screen
  2. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used to subscribe
  3. Check your internet connection (the app needs to verify briefly with Apple)

If the issue persists, please email us with your purchase date and Apple ID region.

Can I share my subscription with family?

Currently, family sharing is not enabled for ED Charts. Each user requires their own subscription. We may consider this in a future release based on user feedback.

I want a refund

All payments are processed by Apple, so refund requests must go directly through them. Apple typically grants refunds for unused subscriptions within 90 days. To request a refund:

  1. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase
  3. Find ED Charts in your purchase history and click "Report a Problem"

I found a clinical inaccuracy in a chart

Please tell us. Each chart has been written and reviewed by a practising clinician, but medical guidelines change and errors are possible. Email us with:

We review all clinical feedback and issue updates through the App Store.

Will you add new charts?

Yes. ED Charts is actively maintained. New charts are added based on user feedback and as new guidelines are published. Your subscription supports this ongoing work.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Once installed, ED Charts works completely offline — perfect for use at the bedside in areas with poor signal. The app only briefly contacts Apple to verify your subscription status.

Is my data private?

Yes. We do not collect any personal data, do not use analytics, and do not track your usage. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
